§ 16 drawings {of an imaginary place}
16 pencil drawings are made, each depicting the same imaginary place (the margin of the land and sky).
The drawings are transferred onto acetate, layered into groups of five, and placed on a lightbox. An animation results from registration variations and a generative grouping process. 233 groups are made and photographed over the course of three days.
